The Roman Centurion, a career and well-trained soldier,  believed Jesus could heal his servant by just saying so from afar. He said that he himself commands people all the time to obey his orders – and they do. So he believed Jesus could command this man be healed, right from where he stood. Jesus was “amazed at him”. Does it amaze you that Jesus could be amazed? How could our faith amaze Jesus?
