Heavenly Father,
On this day of gratitude, we pause to acknowledge your presence and your goodness in our lives. We thank you for the countless blessings you’ve poured out on us, seen and unseen. For the gift of life, for provision, for moments of joy, for strength in hardship, and for the people present now in this moment, we give you thanks.
Lord, we lift up our nation to you—one that feels divided, strained, and often uncertain. In a world filled with conflict and strife, we ask for your healing and your peace. Help us to be instruments of unity, grace, and understanding wherever you lead us.
We thank you for family—the gift of belonging, of shared stories, of laughter, and of love that anchors us. Bless our homes, strengthen our bonds, deepen our compassion, and remind us that family is one of your greatest expressions of love.
As each of us moves into new seasons and new eras of life, grant us peace and courage. Walk with us into every transition, steady our hearts, and help us trust that your plans for us remain good, purposeful, and filled with hope.
Lord, let our gratitude today become more than words. Turn it into action—into generosity that lifts others up, into service that brings relief, and into compassion that reflects your heart. May the good news of your gospel that we cherish not stay within us but flow through us, touching others with encouragement, mercy, and your unfailing love.
We thank you, Father, for this meal, for this fellowship, and for the opportunity to pause and remember all you have done. Help us to always remember to worship you at the blesser, and not simply the blessings you provide. May our lives honor you as we live with grateful hearts.
In the name of Jesus, we pray,
Amen
