LORD God,

How it is I long to be with you, in your presence, at times. Yet, I move into my days with a flurry of activity designed to add value to other people, the planet and also, selfishly to my own existence. You generously have provided me with many gifts such that I often navigate my day relying on my talent (again, provided by you) without recognizing The Giver or consulting or collaborating with you.

When I stumble, when fear creeps in or uncertainty presents itself, I am reminded to invite you into the circumstance. Why must I primarily do this rather than be “God Conscious” every moment? The sin that has settled into my earthly being desires to drive a wedge between my temporal and eternal self. Only you as the Author, Creator and Provider of my faith can alter this circumstance. I plead with you, Glorious and Almighty Father, that you provide in me a faith that is only the smallest fraction of a mustard seed, so that I will at all times invite you on my journey today, if only for today.
